The trial for the lewd video case involving Audrey Davis, daughter of musician David Bayu, had to be postponed. The postponement was made because several witnesses scheduled to attend could not fulfill the summons. The trial, which was supposed to schedule the reading of the charges and examination of witnesses, has to be rescheduled.

"Today's agenda, we just received confirmation that today's trial has been postponed to Tuesday at 14:00. This is due to several witnesses who were supposed to attend but did not," said Sandy Arifin, Audrey's legal counsel, at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday (6/1/2025).
"(In fact) Today our client Audrey and her father Mr. David were ready to attend the testimony examination at the South Jakarta District Court," Sandy continued.
This trial is rescheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. According to Sandy, in this agenda, there will be more than five witnesses presented, including Audrey as the victim witness.
"If you look at the summons, there are more than five witnesses. There are expert witnesses and other witnesses. But for sure we are cooperative today to show that we are indeed ready to participate in the trial process by providing testimony as victim witnesses," he added.
Sandy also confirmed that her client will be present at the next hearing. She emphasized that Audrey and David will provide testimony and follow the ongoing legal process. "So God willing, we will be here again tomorrow with our client Audrey and Mr. David as her accompanying father," explained Sandy.
David Bayu, who has always accompanied his daughter in this legal process, is said to be very eager for this case to be resolved quickly. Although they were previously out of town, David ensured he was ready to attend the trial to support Audrey.
"Actually, it was Mr. David who wanted this hearing to happen as soon as possible. Because coincidentally we were out of town, but since the summons today, we are ready, he is ready, we are ready to accompany and encourage Audrey," asserted Sandy.
This case began with the spread of a pornographic video allegedly involving Audrey Davis. The police have arrested two suspects who are believed to be the distributors of the video, namely MRS (22) from Pasuruan, East Java, and JE (35) from Padang, West Sumatra. Both have now been named suspects and detained by the Metro Jaya Police. They are charged with several articles related to the ITE Law and the Pornography Law for their role in distributing the video.
"The arrest of the two began from the tracing and profiling results conducted by the Investigative Team of Unit 5 Subdit IV Tipidsiber Ditreskrimsus Metro Jaya Police on July 29," explained the police.
In addition to the two suspects, the police have also named AP, Audrey's ex-boyfriend, as the main suspect. AP is said to be both the actor and distributor of the video, motivated by heartbreak after breaking up with Audrey. "AP has also been named a suspect based on Audrey's report regarding alleged threats," added the police in their statement.
This case continues to unfold, and Audrey Davis along with her legal team promises to be cooperative in resolving this matter fairly.
