Baim Wong shows a wise attitude in facing his divorce process with Paula Verhoeven. Although he cannot yet know the official verdict from the South Jakarta Religious Court, Baim still chooses to attend in person to hear the results directly.
"Hopefully after this everything will be calm, no more postings or anything like that from us," said Baim when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (16/4/2025).
In this process, Baim admits he does not want to prolong the issues on social media or in public. He hopes all parties can restrain themselves to protect the feelings of his children in the future.
"Suddenly there is a narrative again, just calm down because it's pity for the children. Until now, I also really keep what I know about the events or whatever it is," continued Baim.
He also emphasized that all this time he has tried to maintain Paula's privacy, including sensitive matters related to their divorce. According to Baim, the most important thing right now is how their children continue to receive love from both parents.
"I just let the court handle it. I still really keep the mother's privacy until now. Even the privacy of what we are suing for," he said.
As a father, Baim wants to complete this process with a cool head without blaming anyone. He also hopes that the public can respond wisely to the news circulating.
"Back again, we are all not perfect people, full of mistakes," he stated.
Baim added that he and his family have made peace with various possibilities, and what is most important now is the tranquility of all parties.
"Just pray that everything will be fine and also please do not blame me again or Paula," Baim concluded.
