"Yes, Mas Baim is very concerned about his children's condition. We must ensure that this parental conflict does not make them victims," Fahmi told reporters after the appeal hearing at the DKI Jakarta Religious High Court some time ago.
According to Fahmi, from the beginning of the divorce process, Baim has instructed that all legal steps should not involve or worsen the emotional state of his children.
"He told me, 'I do not want my children to grow up in tension.' That has been his commitment from the start," said Fahmi.

He also revealed that all this time Baim has always maintained good communication with his children even though he no longer lives under the same roof with Paula Verhoeven.
"Communication is still ongoing. We still meet, that is part of the moral responsibility as a father," he said.
Fahmi emphasized that Baim has never questioned the judge's decision to grant custody to Paula. On the contrary, he fully supports it as long as the decision brings good for the children.
"Mr. Baim does not mind the children being raised by their mother. As long as the right to interact and play a role remains open. That has also been respected by the court," he said.
He also asked the public not to escalate the situation with negative narratives that corner one party, especially regarding issues involving children.
"Because what we are protecting now is not only parental rights but also the future of their children. Don't bring everything into the public space," Fahmi continued.
As a father, Baim is said to continue to be present and actively involved in the growth and development of his children, regardless of the final outcome of this divorce process.
"Yes, he will always be their father. And that will not change no matter how long," Fahmi concluded.
