Shocking news comes from the celebrity couple Fachri Albar and Renata Kusmanto. Unbeknownst to the public, they have officially divorced since February 2025, long before Fachri was arrested again for a drug case.
According to data from the Supreme Court Decision Directory, this divorce was decided by the Tigaraksa Religious Court on February 13, 2025, through case No 702/Pdt.G/2025/PA.Tgrs. The divorce petition was filed by Renata on January 23, 2025.
"The lawsuit from the Plaintiff (Renata Kusmanto binti IR. Danny Kusmanto) was granted in absentia," thus reads the verdict.
Not only does it terminate the husband and wife relationship, the court also determines that the custody of the two children, River Syech Albar and Clover Satin Albar, falls to Renata Kusmanto.
"The children of the Plaintiff and the Defendant, namely River Syech Albar bin Fachri Albar and Clover Satin Albar binti Fachri Albar, are under the custody of their mother, Renata Kusmanto," it is stated in the decision.
In this case, Fachri is also required to support his children's needs amounting to Rp50 million per month. This amount covers living expenses, education, health, and insurance.
"The Defendant (Fachri Albar bin Ahmad Albar) is required to cover the basic needs, education, health (including insurance), and other necessities of his two children at least Rp50,000,000 per month," states the decision.
This divorce became public knowledge a few days after Fachri Albar was arrested in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta, on April 20, 2025, for alleged drug abuse.
"Based on the statement from Mr. FA, he consumed narcotics and psychotropics due to facing problems in his personal life and work," revealed the West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi.
