Betrand Peto Has Been Given Permission to Date by Sarwendah & Ruben Onsu, But Still Not Interested in Finding a Partner

This decision was made considering that Onyo, the nickname for Betrand, has now entered the world of college. However, the teenager who is currently enjoying his youth is apparently not yet interested in diving into the world of romance.

According to Sarwendah, her son prefers to be busy playing soccer rather than thinking about love. Responding to Sarwendah's statement, Onyo admitted he was surprised. Nevertheless, he does not deny that he indeed does not want to prioritize romantic matters.

"I can play soccer six times a week. At the end of the month, there will be a tournament too. Right now, I'm not focusing on girls first. Let's focus on soccer for now," said Onyo when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (25/11/2024).

1. Focus on Hobbies & Friendships

Onyo considers college as an important moment to find his identity. Therefore, he prefers to focus on his hobby of playing football and building friendships in the campus environment.

"Because, you know, it’s like, whatever, if it’s meant to be, we will meet. There are many female friends in college too, I often tell my dad and mom," he said.

2. Sharing

In fact, Onyo revealed that he often talks about the women he admires to Ruben and Sarwendah. Although he admires the beauty of several women, Onyo emphasizes that he does not have special feelings for them.

"Sometimes I tell my parents, I’m like, 'mom, this one is beautiful'. Then I do the same with my dad, 'dad, this one is beautiful'. But for mom, I mostly ask, 'mom, what do you think about this one?' mom would say, 'yeah, okay. But what about you, Onyo?' Something like that. I’ll think about it later," he explained.

"I don’t have a crush, but I definitely admire beautiful girls," he continued.

3. Green Light from Ruben & Sarwendah

Ruben and Sarwendah themselves do not have a problem if Onyo wants to have a romantic relationship. They even support their son if he wants to try dating. However, for Onyo, he hasn't found someone he feels is suitable.

"It's just that I haven't met anyone I feel is right for me. Yeah, it's just whoever wants to be with me," he concluded.
