Rian d'Masiv experienced a serious incident while performing on stage that caused trauma. He admitted that he was hit by a fire blast from the stage effects during an event held in Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung, on September 6, 2024. Check out the full story below!
The incident made him feel very shocked and angry because there was no clear guidance regarding safe positions on stage.
"Wow, that's not just trauma anymore, I mean, I get really anxious if there's a fire on stage, like, is it going to explode or not? Definitely trauma," said Rian when met at the Le Meridien Hotel, Central Jakarta, Monday (25/11/2024).
Fortunately, at the time of the incident, Rian was wearing a leather jacket that protected him from the heat of the fire. "Luckily I was wearing a leather jacket yesterday, so it kind of held up, I was still saved," he added.
Rian reprimanded and reminded the crew to check the stage safety before performing. He also emphasized the importance of briefing to avoid similar incidents in the future.
"After the event ends, we immediately have a briefing, and we call all the people responsible. This can't happen again. You need to be more careful, give more detailed information about the stage conditions," he explained.
"Our performance intensity is quite high, maybe getting tired, skipping like that. Angry, just enough to be angry after the performance. But thank God, the important thing is that we are safe," said Rian.
