Billy admits that he is actually a very private person, especially for sacred moments like marriage.
He deliberately did not publicize the news to avoid excessive public scrutiny and questions. "Honestly, I actually want it to be very secret," said Billy.
According to him, if he publicizes the marriage but does not hold a reception, it will backfire and lead to speculation among netizens.
"When I, so to speak, have officially married Vika, that's, you know, secret, right? You all don't know either," he said.
"If the reception isn't celebrated, then it will become a question for all of you and maybe netizens, all sorts of things. That's what I fear and regret," Billy added.
Even this gender reveal event was initially intended to be held very intimately, just with family. "I wanted it to be intimate, you know," concluded Billy Syahputra.
