"Two months before my 50th birthday, I just found out that I have a collection of gallstones. So for the last two weeks, I've been feeling stomach pain that was a bit different from the usual stomach ache or GERD that I often experience," Angie revealed on her Instagram.
"I suspected it wasn't stomach acid but because of gallstones. After reading and browsing about the pain, it seemed more directed towards gallstones, so I went straight to the doctor for a check-up, and it turned out to be true," Angie continued.
"Actually, since last year during the MCU, I already knew that I had gallstones, but I never felt any pain, so I ignored it," she revealed.
"When I entered the hospital for surgery, it turned out I couldn't have the surgery right away because my bilirubin was high, which made me turn yellow due to a stone that had entered the duct. So I had to lower the bilirubin first in the hospital before I could have the surgery," she continued.
"The people most at risk for gallstones are 4F: Female, Forty, Fat, and Fertile. On the day of my surgery, the hospital staff said there were a total of 8 people who also had gallstone surgeries," added Angie.
"So the point is for 4F to start checking health to avoid unexpected diseases like me who turned out to have gallstones," Angie said to conclude her story.
Angie's Instagram comment section was suddenly flooded with netizens. Many prayed for Angie to recover quickly. It is known that Angie had to be hospitalized for 5 days.
