"Yes, for now I am still renting a place in the outskirts of Jakarta. It's like that, I haven't thought about my house yet, hopefully there will be some fortune so I can fix my house," said Eko Patrio when met at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Friday (12/9/2025).

Eko reminisces about how that house was the fruit of his hard work for decades. Seeing the result of his efforts disappear overnight certainly leaves a deep wound.

"Honestly, this is indeed the result of my hard work for decades, my head became my feet, my feet became my head to provide the best for my family, which is the house that I have built from my hard work. The career I have achieved all this time vanished in an instant that night, yes it’s sad," he said.

When asked about the total losses, Eko admitted he had not calculated it. However, he ensured that not a single item was left.

"I haven't calculated how much the losses are, but everything is gone, nothing is left. Even clothes and pants, all my children's belongings, everything is gone and destroyed," Eko explained.

Eko admitted that he has forgiven the perpetrators of the looting of his home, but he has left the legal process entirely to the police.

"So there are about 7 police words, but for now I am focused on Rian, as for the others, I have actually forgiven them, but it all depends on the police because the police have the right to this legal process," Eko explained.
