Kapanlagi.com - The long-awaited sequel to the family drama film, TEARS AT THE END OF THE PRAYER MAT 2, has officially released its official trailer and first poster. During the press conference held on Friday (12/10/2025), the atmosphere was filled with emotion, including for the cast.
Titi Kamal, who reprises her role as Aqilla, admitted that she was moved and touched while watching the trailer for her own film. She feels that Aqilla's story, filled with struggles as a mother, has had a profound impact on her personal life.
"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Oh, I haven't said hi to my media friends here. Thank you very much for being here and for taking the time to attend," she said when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Friday (12/10/2025).
More than just a role, Titi Kamal revealed that the character Aqilla has changed her perspective as a mother. The shooting process made her appreciate every moment with her children at home even more.
"When I came home from shooting, I would hug and love my children, and it feels like the bond between mother and child becomes even stronger," she said.

The 43-year-old actress hopes that the message and emotions she feels can be conveyed well to the audience. She wants this film to strengthen family bonds for anyone who watches it.
"Hopefully for friends who just watched, their family bonds will be much stronger, much more grateful," said Titi.

In addition, it also highlights an important message about the sincerity and sacrifice of a mother, which is the core of this film's story.
"Hopefully, after watching the film TEARS AT THE EDGE OF THE PRAYER MAT, we will learn more about the sincerity and sacrifice of a mother," he concluded.

TEARS AT THE EDGE OF THE PRAYER MAT 2 is scheduled to be released on October 23, 2025, in theaters across the country. This is the sequel to the first film that was released in September 2023. Beehave Pictures released a teaser trailer on August 29, 2025, through their YouTube channel.

Once again directed by Key Mangunsong, Titi Kamal also returns as the main character Aqilla in the film TEARS AT THE EDGE OF THE PRAYER MAT 2. Tears at the Edge of the Prayer Mat 2 continues the story of Aqilla and Yumna (Citra Kirana), two mothers who both struggle for the love and happiness of Baskara (Faqih Alaydrus).

Aqilla must let go of her biological child, Baskara, to be raised by the couple Arif and Yumna in Surakarta. When her contact with Baskara through Yumna was cut off for months, Aqilla decided to visit the city of Solo to seek the truth about her child's condition.
