"The kids are already critical, you know. So sometimes we go to Jakarta alone, 'Dad, why are you going again for another week, another week?' So the kids are starting to be critical," said Hengky when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Friday (12/9/2026).

According to him, this change is very noticeable as the intensity of their togetherness increases. His children even have a special request list for weekend activities.

"Even asking if on weekends they want to be accompanied, asking for at least some activities together like skating, rollerblading, then, 'Let’s eat, let’s shop.' So the kids already, already now eh know and always want to gather like that, always together," he said.

This phenomenon has become something new for Hengky and Sonya. Previously, their busy schedules limited their interactions to just when they were at home. Sonya Fatmala admitted that she and her husband rarely had plans together outside the house due to their packed schedules.

"Usually we are busy, even though we are in the same world, but because I am busy with organizations, Mas Hengky is busy in the government as a regional head too, eh our joint agenda usually just meets at home like that," explained Sonya.
