Breast Cancer Condition Improving, Nunung Srimulat Will Undergo Final Chemotherapy

Kapanlagi.com - The condition of comedian Nunung Srimulat is getting better after undergoing breast cancer cell removal surgery on June 6, 2023. However, Nunung still needs to continue her health check-ups.

In addition, Nunung plans to undergo her 6th chemotherapy. This chemotherapy will be the last one for Tri Retno Prayudati, her full name.

"Alhamdulillah, as you can see, I'm healthy, I have to be healthy. Yesterday I had surgery, and the doctor said there was no spreading anywhere," Nunung said when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Sunday (8/13).

"Still under control, still routine because I have one more chemo session left, and thank God it will be the last one tomorrow," Nunung added.

1. Still Have to PET Scan

After completing the 6th chemotherapy, Nunung apparently still has to undergo a PET scan, a procedure to scan cancer cells in her body. However, Nunung still doesn't know when she will undergo it.

"If the chemo is done, there will be only one PET scan left. But I don't know, maybe I have to wait for the last chemo tomorrow, and then a few days later there will be a PET scan," she said.

2. Prohibitions from the Doctor

The doctor advised the 60-year-old woman to reduce consuming foods cooked by grilling and red meat. Of course, Nunung mentioned this to maintain her condition and she was also advised not to stress.

"Just reduce grilled foods and red meat. It's not forbidden, just reduced. The important thing, according to the doctor, is to avoid stress," Nunung concluded.
