Cancelled to be a Witness in Jennifer Jill's Case, Ajun Perwira is Tight-Lipped

Kapanlagi.com - The trial of the drug abuse case involving defendant Jennifer Jill was held again at the West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (16/6/2021). In this hearing, which was scheduled to hear testimony from the Public Prosecutor, Jennifer Jill's husband and child, namely Ajun Perwira and Philo Paz Armand, were present.

Ajun and Philo's presence in the courtroom was at the request of the Public Prosecutor to serve as factual witnesses. In addition to Ajun and Philo, the Prosecutor also presented expert witnesses, doctors from the National Narcotics Agency.

However, Ajun and Philo were unable to testify. The Panel of Judges immediately adjourned the trial after hearing the expert witness's testimony. Ajun and Philo will testify in the next session.

1. Avoiding the Media

After the judges adjourned the session, Ajun and Philo appeared to avoid the media and hurriedly headed to their car.

Only a few words escaped Ajun's mouth. "Just pray that everything goes smoothly until the final verdict. Sorry, maybe later," Ajun said as he walked away.

2. Arrested by the Police

Jennifer Jill was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit on Tuesday (16/2/2021). She was arrested together with Ajun Perwira and their son named Philo.

From the arrest, the police confiscated 0.39 grams of crystal meth and a used pipette known to belong to Jennifer Jill.

Since there was not enough evidence to conduct further investigation on Philo and Ajun Perwira, they were returned to their family.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Jill, who was proven to have violated the law, is charged under Article 112 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, with a minimum prison sentence of 4 years and a maximum of 12 years, and a fine ranging from IDR 800 million to IDR 8 billion.
