"Yes, he has been to the hospital three times. The first time was a heart attack, he went home and recovered. The second time, his lungs were filled with water, he recovered. But the third time was a long stroke, two months. Then he was hospitalized for the last 2 weeks," explained Santi.
2. Condition During Stroke
Santi explained that her husband's condition during a stroke was not able to receive food and had difficulty speaking. However, he could still respond to people around him.
"Yes, the worst part is because of the blockage, then he can no longer receive food. He can't speak because he has a tracheal tube, so he can't speak. He is aware when we call him, there is a response from his hearing," said Santi.
Koh Ahong passed away at the age of 68, leaving behind his wife, three children, and five grandchildren. The plan is to bury the body in Meruyung, Depok, West Java.
