Chronology of the Looting of Zack Lee's House, Attacked in Two Waves During the Early Morning

Syamsul recounted that the crowd, numbering in the hundreds, initially stopped at the security post. Their coordinator politely asked for the location of Nafa Urbach's house. However, the situation changed drastically after the location was pointed out.

"Once we were told, we pointed out the house, and suddenly they just attacked, they just banged on the door," recalled Syamsul.

Syamsul stated that the crowd that arrived in very large numbers immediately surged in and took anything they could carry. "Hundreds of people. Oh, it reached hundreds. A lot, really a lot," he emphasized.

What was even more surprising was that the attack did not stop there. Shortly after, a second wave of a different crowd arrived, continuing the looting action.

"This is the first session without any authorities, without the police," he said. "The second session was when the authorities, the military, were present," Syamsul continued, mentioning that the second attack occurred around 05:15 WIB.

As a result of the two waves of attacks, the house where Zack Lee and his daughter lived was devastated. Furniture, electronic items, and even the contents of the refrigerator were not spared from looting.

"What was taken included a television, shoes, a shoe rack, a suitcase, I don’t know what was inside, clothes or something. Then there were also clothes and pillows that were taken. Everything that was there. Even the contents of the refrigerator, I saw that they took that too," he concluded.
