This moment occurred at the beginning of his career in the entertainment world. The agency that manages groups like NCT and EXO invited him to attend a private audition.
"So actually the beginning of my career in the entertainment world, I was contacted by SM," said Gabriel Prince when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (01/9/2025).

The man born in Surabaya admitted that at that time he was still in high school and did not have enough knowledge about the entertainment industry."At that time I didn't, I didn't take it because I was still, yeah at that time I was still in high school, I still had no knowledge at all about the world of entertainment," he explained.
Nonetheless, he did not completely close the door to the global stage. Prince emphasized that one of his biggest dreams is to expand his career internationally.
"If for example right now I am offered again or I am noticed by an overseas agency, then why not. Because one of the goals I want to achieve is, I mean the main goal is I want to expand my career internationally," he asserted.
Often receiving compliments for resembling Korean oppas, Prince admits he only considers it a compliment. He remains proud of his identity as an Indonesian."But I always remind myself that I am Indonesian, you know, from Suroboyo," he joked.In fact, when shooting in Korea, locals often mistook him for a native Korean.
When asked if he would choose to be a K-Drama actor or a K-Pop idol if given the opportunity, Prince answered enthusiastically."Can’t I choose both? If both are allowed, then sure," he concluded with a smile.
