Comedian Gilang Gombloh was involved in a traffic accident in the Cikarang Timur area, Bekasi Regency on Monday morning (14/4/2025). The incident occurred around 08:00 WIB when Gilang was riding a Vespa motorcycle with his friends. Read more about it below!
"Around 8 in the morning in the Cikarang area. My friends and I were planning to ride to Bandung. We had stopped because someone was about to cross the street. Suddenly, a truck hit us from behind. Besides me and my friends, there were also other victims," he said when contacted by the media on Monday (14/4/2025).
The group of motorcyclists had initially stopped briefly to give way to pedestrians crossing. However, suddenly, a truck sped up and hit them from behind.
The impact from the truck caused several riders to fall. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the incident. Gilang himself experienced minor shock, but did not suffer serious injuries.
"Thank God there are no casualties. A bit shocked, but grateful that nothing serious happened," said Gilang.
The Vespa motorbike he was riding was damaged in several parts. Nevertheless, Gilang was seen picking up the detached parts of his motorbike and moving to the side of the road.
The incident was recorded by bystanders and the video circulated on social media. In the footage, Gilang appeared to be conscious and was trying to tidy up his motorbike.
After the incident, Gilang immediately returned home to rest. His condition is now reported to be stable and under family supervision.
