Kapanlagi.com - In order to honor the contributors to the Indonesian film and television arts, the Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF RI) will hold the LSF Awards 2025. With an intriguing theme, 'Voices of Diverse Screens for Indonesia', this grand event will be broadcast live by Indosiar on November 8, 2025, starting at 19:00 WIB.
This theme is not just a slogan, but reflects LSF's dedication to developing a rich and diverse film ecosystem in Indonesia. Additionally, this event aims to promote age classification, education about self-censorship, and raise public awareness about the importance of enjoying quality entertainment.
"This is an awards event for film and television practitioners to support the culture of self-censorship and age-appropriate viewing. We want to make self-censorship principles a part of our culture," said Naswardi, Chairman of LSF RI, during a press conference at SCTV Tower, Jakarta, Monday (3/11/2025).
A total of 58 thousand films from the period of August 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, have undergone a strict curation and selection process by 17 members of the LSF and 20 censorship staff divided into six groups. In the LSF Awards 2025, there will be a total of 17 award categories and one special category (lifetime achievement) to be given to selected nominees.
"This curation process started at the beginning of the year, so it has been going on for quite some time. We have selected more than 58 thousand materials, covering 17 categories and one special category," explained Gustav Aulia, Chairman of the LSF Awards 2025 Committee.
The peak night of the LSF Awards 2025 will be hosted by an exciting trio of presenters: Rina Nose, Ramzi, and Astrid Tiar. Not to be missed, several top Indonesian artists such as Ungu, Putri Ariani, Leslar Family, Lemon, as well as participants from the Dangdut Academy, are ready to entertain and enliven this event.
