Kapanlagi.com - The marriage of Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan is currently on the rocks. Ricis has made up her mind to divorce, while Teuku Ryan is still trying to reconcile.
Teuku Ryan's lawyer, Dedy Rizal Armidi, confirmed that his client still wants to defend his marriage with Ria Ricis.
"Yes, up until this moment, there has been no change in his stance. The main point is that he has to live his life and do his job," said Dedy Rizal Armidi at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Thursday (7/3/2024).
Dedy stated that they will continue to seek mediation outside of court. For now, they are still waiting for the results of the filed lawsuit.
"Of course, that is still our commitment. But we still have to see the dynamics, as it is quite extraordinary. We will see whether this lawsuit will be accepted or not," said Dedy Rizal.
In today's hearing, on Thursday (7/3), Teuku Ryan and Ria Ricis both did not attend the trial. For the trial process, Teuku Ryan fully entrusted it to his lawyer.
"And for matters in court, Ryan has entrusted it to us, to resolve it as best as possible regardless of the outcome," added Dedy Rizal Armidi.
Dedy refused to discuss the details of the lawsuit filed by Ricis. However, he is confident that whatever its contents, his team is ready to provide an appropriate response to the lawsuit.
"That is their right, I have no interest in talking about it. I reiterate, whatever the essence is, whether it is a revision or an addition, because it also enables us to respond in a proportional manner," said Dedy.
Dedy stated that with further explanation, his team will be able to provide a more coordinated response to the lawsuit.
"It means that we should not give a floating answer and finally it is not synchronized, we don't find what the underlying problem is," concluded Dedy.
