Creating a Stir by Wearing a Hijab in a Photo, Gita Sinaga Affirms She Has Not Converted Religion

"Yes, actually it was for a photoshoot, but I really liked the photo. So I thought I would post it and give a pluralism caption, so people might speculate whether it was for a photoshoot or something else. Genuine or a conversion to Islam. Something like that," said Gita Sinaga, when met at Trans TV, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (03/06/2020).

1. Don't Fight About Religion

From the photo, Gita seems to convey an implicit message to netizens not to interfere in someone's beliefs. Because it is personal and sensitive.

"According to me, this is actually a moment for me to convey that, why do we have to fight only about religion. Whereas religion is very personal and it's like your belief in God, you can't disturb anyone," she explained.

2. Deny Conversion Rumors

Furthermore, Gita also said that she did not convert to another religion as rumored. With a sweet smile, she denied the news.

"There is no news about me converting," she concluded.
