Davina Karamoy Reveals Unique Incidents as a Homewrecker in a Film, Pinched, Insulted, and Confronted by People

Having played a homewrecker named Rani in the film 'Ipar Adalah Maut' made Davina Karamoy a sought-after name. Especially since her convincing acting made many people hate her. 

But Davina does admit that she is ready to be hated when she decides to take on an antagonistic role, especially as a woman who competes for someone else's husband. She knows the consequences might affect her real life. 

And indeed, many people started to 'hate' her because of the character she played. Davina also shared her unpleasant experiences after playing the homewrecker in the film, ranging from being pinched to being confronted. 

"It has happened a few times (being pinched)," Davina revealed when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (26/4/2025).  "And I was also confronted, like 'Hey, is that you? I just watched you. So annoying!,'" said Davina Karamoy in disbelief.

She also recounted how she was insulted since the film cast was announced when she was invited as a guest on the YouTube channel Curhat Bang Densu in June 2024.

"No need to look at the trailer. I haven't done anything, just from the cast reveal I was already hated because they said 'my face fits perfectly,' even my dad praised my role as the mistress," said Davina Karamoy.

Now Davina Karamoy takes on the role of a mistress again in her latest film 'Dendam Dalam Kelam'. The image of a 'side chick' has stuck to her since the previous film, and now she is not afraid to take on the antagonist role of a mistress again. Looking forward to her next performance!
