Davina Karamoy's Story: First Umrah After Converting, Touched Listening to the Holy Verses in Front of the Ka'bah

Actress Davina Karamoy has just completed her first Umrah journey after converting to Islam. Together with her mother, she experienced a profound spiritual journey and is grateful to be able to perform Umrah for the first time.

The star of the movie NINGSIH: DENDAM ARWAH PENGHUNI PABRIK shared how listening to the recitation of the Holy Quran in front of the Ka'bah deeply touched her heart and provided a different experience. Read the full story!

"It feels exciting and I am grateful for my first Umrah. Yesterday I went for Umrah with my mom, and I want to go back with my whole family," said Davina Karamoy in Kebon Jeruk area recently.   "Yes, I was touched by every process of worship there, listening to the verses of the Holy Quran recited in front of the Ka'bah really changed my life," she said.

Since performing Umrah, she feels closer to Allah and her worship has become more regular. Previously, Davina admitted that her worship was still inconsistent, but after Umrah, she prayed that her prayers would always be on time and more focused.

Honestly, before Umrah, my worship was still shaky, but afterwards, I remember Allah and my family more, looking at life more relaxed because all of that is a scenario and decree from Allah," she said.

This Umrah journey has also become part of her prayers all this time. She feels very grateful to be able to set foot in the holy land and convey three important points in her prayers.   "Umrah is also one of my prayers. Alhamdulillah, there are 3 points of prayer, and I ask that my prayers are not missed," she said.

Then, this 22-year-old girl also shared a unique experience she had while shopping for souvenirs in the holy land. When she asked the price of an item, the seller actually gave it to her for free.

"The first time I went there, I bought souvenirs and the person just gave me everything. I asked how much, and they said it was free. I was happy with the first experience and want to go back again," she concluded.
