Amid the escalating conflict situation in the Middle East, senior dangdut singer Inul Daratista was briefly filled with worries. This is because she has a significant responsibility to send off several people to perform Umrah. However, after careful consideration, the pilgrimage journey was ultimately continued by choosing a safer flight route.

The wife of Adam Suseno revealed that she had considered canceling the departure of her Umrah group. This concern arose after she canceled her personal Umrah plan with her family, which was supposed to use an airline with a transit route in Doha, one of the areas close to the conflict zone. "I said why yesterday I canceled those 10 people, right? We all use Etihad or Emirates, right? Using Emirates, we land in Doha, that’s where the transit is. That place is currently having bombings, so I ended up canceling it," she revealed when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Thursday (2/4/2026).

However, for the group that she sent off, the decision was different. After discussing, they chose to use an airline with a direct flight that does not pass through conflict-prone zones.

"Yes, we who sent them off were actually worried, wondering if it would be canceled or not. "No ma'am, bismillah," they said, since it’s direct and doesn’t go through the bomb areas because this access seems to take a far route, without transit," explained Inul.

This decision was made after the group scheduled to depart assured Inul that they were ready and resigned to God's will. With that confidence, Inul finally let them go with prayers and hopes that everything would go smoothly.

Currently, Inul admits to feeling relieved because the umrah group she facilitated has safely arrived in Medina.
