Devano Danendra Creates Song for 'MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2' Soundtrack, Praised by Naura Ayu

Kapanlagi.com - Devano Danendra was asked to create two songs that will be used as soundtracks for his latest series MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2. The son of dangdut singer Iis Dahlia expressed his joy in being trusted by Screenplay Films to once again work in the field of music.

"Indeed, the Screenplay team requested a song and I was able to write one. I am happy to be able to write and create again after not doing so for a long time. Hopefully, everyone will listen to it," said Devano Danendra when met at Plaza Senayan XXI, Tuesday (27/6).

However, when asked about the idea behind the making of the song, Devano Danendra couldn't explain it in detail and let his fans interpret it themselves. Because the song was indeed made spontaneously during the filming of MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2.

"When I write songs, I always have weird and unclear theories so that you can interpret it yourselves. I get confused when talking about ideas because I only write songs spontaneously. I made it in a very spontaneous location," he said.

As his former girlfriend and co-star in MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2, Naura Ayu has also heard the song created by Devano Danendra. Naura Ayu doesn't hesitate to praise Devano Danendra's latest work.

"Of course (I've listened to it). I first listened to the song during a reading session. Then we were like, 'wow, wow.' Especially since it's a song that should represent Reyhan's character. It's not easy, not as Devano," said Naura Ayu.

"Oh, we don't need to give input. Because he knows better than us and he's idealistic. But we really heard the second song during the take. So our reaction was really genuine," she continued.

Receiving praise from Naura Ayu and other players, Devano Danendra looked shy. He thanked everyone for liking his song.

"Because we are all positive cast here. We help each other," Devano Danendra concluded with a smile.
