The beautiful artist Bunga Zainal has once again brought surprising news regarding her decision in the entertainment world to support her eldest son, Karan Pradhi Singh. The 16-year-old teenager has just launched a YouTube channel titled Youth Uncensored that discusses global political issues.

"Thank you so much for coming here. Coincidentally, today I have an event for my child's YouTube launching. It’s very intimate, I also invited some journalist friends, as well as some of my relatives, and my child. So, thank you so much to those who came and watched a little earlier. If there are any questions, feel free to ask," said Bunga Zainal when met by KapanLagi in the Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta, on Saturday (02/05/2026).

Karan Singh revealed that the idea for this podcast came about because he noticed that his peers often seemed indifferent and did not understand the context of the political issues that are happening. He feels it is important for the younger generation to have access to education on international issues.

"So, the first reason I created this podcast is because I realized that my friends, when I talk about politics, they don't really understand. And one of the reasons is that they are somewhat reluctant to read the news, well not reluctant exactly, but it's just not easy to understand because the context is not there yet," said Karan Singh.

As a mother, Bunga Zainal admitted that she was very surprised yet proud of her son's unique interest, which is uncommon for teenagers his age. She also provided a platform for Karan to discuss openly without fear of judgment from anyone.

"I am actually very proud, you know, I mean my child at the age of 16 already has the thought to create this podcast to invite their community to 'here we are, the young generation as Indonesian citizens, how can we develop further'. So when I heard about this project, and coincidentally this project will also be used for his university later, I just support it as a parent," explained Bunga.

In order to provide maximum support for her son from her marriage to Sukhdev Singh, Bunga Zainal even chose to take a break from shooting activities. This drastic step was taken purely to accompany her child's career and education journey.

"One of my supports is to decide to take a break from the entertainment world. That's one of my supports. The last time I shot was last year, and my child, Karan, asked me to stop for a while, to take a break, he said. So that I can focus on him," she revealed.

Bunga feels that her time to pursue a career on screen is sufficient and now it is time for her to fully take on the role of a parent. She does not want to neglect the great talents of her children just because of her personal busyness.

"The main reason is indeed because I want to focus on the children. Because I think my time has come, right? I mean, I've done that career thing, but it seems like it's time after getting married to have children, which my friends know that I am also very focused on the kids. So now it’s time to support the children," concluded Bunga.
