The discipline of the eldest son Jessica Iskandar, El Barack Alexander, indeed deserves extraordinary appreciation from many people. El has a habit of waking up independently in the morning without needing instructions from his parents every day.
"I’m speechless, because El Barack wakes up at 6 AM for school. Then he leaves for school at 6:30," said Jessica Iskandar when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (26/5/2026).
El Barack even prepared all his personal needs before his mother woke up from her deep sleep, he said. This habit shows that El has a very independent and organized character from an early age.
"So he has already woken up by himself, gotten ready by himself, he prepares all his needs by himself, and that's it, the rest he just has to leave," he revealed.
This smart child has his own reasons for always wanting to arrive at school earlier than other students. Even though classes start at eight o'clock, he still chooses to leave at half past six in the morning. "It's okay, I just want to be early like that. He just wants to come earlier, he said like that," he said.
In addition to high discipline, Jedar also greatly admires the critical thinking skills possessed by her beloved son. He often engages in deep discussions about various social phenomena with El Barack at home.
"He grows up so fast, and his way of thinking is like not typical for his age. So sometimes his critical thinking is already really good," she explained.
El's ability to understand issues beyond school material makes Jessica Iskandar feel very surprised and proud. She feels that her child is growing with a very quick mindset and sensitivity to his surroundings.
"About things that sometimes we don’t know, he knows. So he is really quick in his thinking, and he’s definitely not like a typical elementary school kid," she concluded.
