Entrepreneur Putra Siregar and an Artist Arrested for Assault Case

Kapanlagi.com - Businessman and owner of a mobile phone store, Putra Siregar, along with artist Rico Valentino, were arrested after assaulting Nuralamsyah, a resident of South Jakarta. The incident took place at a cafe in the Senopati area of South Jakarta on March 2, 2022.

Putra and Rico were reportedly arrested upon their return from a 14-day Umrah pilgrimage and were initially protected by state officials. Previously, they had been reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Around 2 a.m., our client was attacked without reason. I don't know if the perpetrators were under the influence of alcohol or not," said the victim's lawyer, Ahmad Ali Fahmi, when contacted on Tuesday (4/12/2022).

1. Waiting for Good Faith

According to him, his party had given Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino a deadline to apologize for the incident.

However, as the apology had not been made, Fahmi then filed a report with the South Jakarta Metro Police on March 11, 2022.

2. Provide Complete Evidence

In the police report, Fahmi included several pieces of evidence such as a medical examination report, CCTV footage of the incident location, and witnesses who were even victims of the assault. 

"Because we waited for their good faith to apologize but they refused to do so. Therefore, we reported it to the police," said Fahmi. 

3. Victim Suffers Injuries

As a result of the beating, Fahmi said his client suffered injuries to the right jaw area. The injuries are believed to be caused by blunt object strikes. "There is an internal injury in the right jaw area, with marks from blunt object strikes," Fahmi explained.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Police Chief Commissioner Budhi Herdi Susianto confirmed the report when asked. He emphasized that they are currently processing the report.

"Yes, we have received the report a long time ago. We have already processed and followed up on it," he said.
