Eril's Body Found in Intact Condition Despite Being Submerged for 14 Days, Ridwan Kamil Provides Scientific Explanation

Kapanlagi.com - The body of Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz, or affectionately known as Eril, was found on Wednesday (8/6/2022) morning local time at the Enngehalde dam located in Bern, Switzerland. After being declared missing for 14 days due to being swept away by the Aare river current, it was revealed that Eril's body was found in intact condition.

Eril's mother, Atalia Praratya, through her Instagram post said that Eril was found in a complete, clean, handsome, smiling, and fragrant state. Furthermore, Ridwan Kamil, who helped bathe the body in Switzerland, confirmed that his eldest son emitted a fragrance like eucalyptus leaves.

1. Provide Scientific Explanation

The condition of Eril's body when found was very emotional and relieving for the family. However, it was not without reason, as the Governor of West Java revealed a scientific explanation behind the phenomenon.

"Alhamdulillah. At the Bern Hospital, shortly after bathing Eril's body. The scientific explanation for why his body remained intact: The Aare river, which is as cold as a refrigerator and has minimal fauna, kept his body half-frozen, so it remained intact even though it was at the bottom of the river for 14 days," he wrote on Instagram story.

2. Fragrant Body of Eucalyptus

Through his Instagram account, Ridwan Kamil revealed the condition of Eril's body, which turned out to be still intact and fragrant. He didn't stop saying thayibbah.

"ALHAMDULILLAH YA ALLAH. Finally, You have given me the opportunity to embrace, caress, and bathe my child according to Islamic law, also to adzan perfectly in his ear just like when Eril was born," Ridwan Kamil wrote in his Instagram post today, Friday (10/6).

"And MASYA ALLAH. Even though it's been 14 days, his body is still intact, complete without any missing parts, his face looking to the right and I testify, Eril's body smells like eucalyptus leaves. It's a small miracle that we are very grateful for," he added.

3. Expressions of Gratitude

Furthermore, Ridwan Kamil also expressed his gratitude. Not only to Allah SWT but also to millions of people who have prayed for the late Eril for the past 14 days.

"Allah is Great, with Your permission, for 14 days the Aare river truly protected and purified his body from harm. Hey Eril, it's time for you to return to your homeland, to express gratitude to the millions who have prayed for you," he concluded.
