Erin Wartia Speaks Out About the Domestic Worker Accused of Running Away

Erin Wartia Trigina finally spoke up regarding the news that her former domestic worker (ART) chose to leave her job. The issue became widely discussed after their case came to public attention. In recent weeks, Erin's name has been in the spotlight following reports from the former ART. The matter then developed, leading to various speculations on social media.

"Actually, yesterday Nurul was fine with me, there was no problem," said Erin Wartia Trigina when met by KapanLagi in the Antasari area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (3/6/2026).

Erin explained that her working relationship with Nurul was normal. However, the situation changed when the domestic worker was said to be pressured by her family to go home.

"It’s just that maybe she was alone and continued to be bothered by her husband to keep going home, so in the end, she couldn’t focus on work," she said.

According to Erin, the decision to stop working is not related to the issues that are widely discussed in public. She claimed that she never forced her employees to stay. "Actually, if our work relationship is good, there are no problems," she continued.

She explained that Nurul's reason for returning at that time was related to family conditions. Therefore, she chose to respect that decision.

"But then she was suddenly pressured to go home because her parents were said to be sick, so I couldn't force her either," Erin said.

When asked about the accusation that she did not allow the household staff to go home, Erin strongly denied the news. She claimed to have evidence of communication with the agency.

"No, because I have already communicated with the agency and I can prove all of that," Erin asserted.

Erin's legal counsel also believes that the issue should be resolved amicably. They hope both parties can take a more conducive path without prolonging the polemic.

In the midst of the ongoing case, Erin revealed that there is already a new domestic worker currently employed in her home. The worker comes from the same agency as before. "Yes, a new one from the same agency. Still have one," said Erin.
