The issue of a third party has resurfaced amid the post-divorce controversy between Sarwendah and Ruben Onsu. Sarwendah's legal team has finally spoken out regarding accusations that suggest their client's change in attitude was influenced by a certain individual.
Chris Sam Siwu believes that these accusations are outside the main issue at hand. According to him, the primary focus right now is communication between the parents regarding the interests of the children.
The statement emerged after assumptions circulated that Sarwendah's decisions were influenced by close people in her life. Chris emphasized that his client is someone who can determine her own stance.
"The RO party claims that Sarwendah's change in attitude is due to someone influencing her, or that close person being her partner. That is out of context for me," said Chris Sam Siwu when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Saturday (30/5/2026).
According to Chris, each party's personal life should no longer be an issue after the divorce. He believes everyone has the right to continue their own life."Maybe our client already has a life with another partner, which is normal since she is divorced, so go ahead," he continued.
Sarwendah's legal counsel also denied the assumption that his client is easily influenced by others. He stated that every decision made is based on facts and personal considerations.
"Our client cannot be influenced by anyone. Our client is purely based on facts that are a complete turnaround from what Bang Minola has conveyed," Chris emphasized.
For Sarwendah's party, the main issue remains related to communication regarding the child. They hope the polemic does not further expand into personal matters that are considered unrelated to the core issue.
"The issue of the child is not a commodity, so coordinate it. I don't think it's fair or appropriate to ask for the child in the media," he stated.
