Ferry Maryadi Always Brings Medicine When Riding a Motorcycle, It Turns Out...

Ferry Maryadi has a habit that may not be widely known to the public. Behind his hobby of touring and riding long distances, he always carries a medicine box wherever he goes.

The presenter, known for his adventurous spirit, admits that this habit emerged as he got older. He wants to always be ready to face emergencies, both for himself and for others.

"Medicine. According to age, medicine," said Ferry Maryadi when met in the Buncit Raya area, South Jakarta, recently.

The father of two then explained the contents of the medicine box that always accompanies him. Interestingly, one of the medicines he carries is not actually for himself.

"Yes, I don't have heart disease, I just take precautions in case a relative or someone passing by has a heart condition. And then headache medicine and vertigo medicine," he revealed.

Ferry indeed has a history of vertigo that once required him to seek medical treatment. That experience is the reason why vertigo medication is always available in his personal bag. "Oh yes, I fell. I even went to the ER for that," he said.

The husband of Deswita Maharani revealed that his last vertigo attack occurred about two to three years ago. At that time, the doctor even advised him to reduce long-distance driving activities.

"Yes, my doctor said that, basically, the doctor no longer recommends that I drive long distances. I just said, how can I drive long distances, I have to carry medication," he said.

Despite receiving that warning, Ferry continues to pursue his hobby more carefully. He chooses to prepare himself as best as possible before embarking on a journey.

The man born in Bandung also hopes that the medication he always carries is never used in an emergency situation. Because, according to him, that means everyone is in a healthy and good condition.

"Well, that's it, I always pray that hopefully this medicine box won’t be refilled. It means if it’s refilled, it means something has been used, you know," he said.
