The wedding plans of Azriel Hermansyah and Sarah Menzel are still a public concern. The second son of the couple Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty revealed that discussions regarding his happy day are still ongoing at the family level.
When asked about the development of the wedding plans, Azriel was not willing to disclose the details that have been prepared. He only provided a brief answer regarding the discussions that are currently taking place. Here are the details.
"It's still being discussed by the family," said Azriel Hermansyah when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Saturday (30/5/2026).
Although their relationship is becoming more serious, Azriel and Sarah are in agreement to keep various information about their wedding tightly under wraps. Both are not ready to reveal the schedule or concept of the event to the public.
"Just wait for it," said Azriel Hermansyah. "Just wait," echoed Sarah Menzel.
When asked again whether the wedding would take place this year, Azriel remained reluctant to give any hints. He asked the public to wait for official information from his family. "Just wait," said Azriel.
This closed-off attitude aligns with the family's decision to temporarily postpone the wedding plans. The extended family is known to agree on prioritizing Azriel's education, as he is currently completing his Master's program.
The decision was made even though their wedding preparations are said to have reached about 50 percent. Azriel is expected to complete his studies and graduate around June 2026, making education the main focus at this time.
When asked about the location of the wedding, Azriel also has not given a definite answer. He instead threw a joke that piqued the public's curiosity. "Just wait for the invitation later," said Azriel.
Until now, neither Azriel nor Sarah has revealed the concept or customs that will be used in their wedding. The public still has to wait for an official announcement from the family regarding the continuation of the couple's relationship.
