"We have known each other for quite a long time, long before starting a relationship. We got to know each other because we served together in a church in Tiberias," said Glenn to the media at San Diego Hills, Karawang, West Java, on Thursday (11/4/2024).

2. Wanting to Get Serious Until Marriage

When deciding to date, the direction of the relationship between Melitha Sidabutar and Glen Imanuel Sanjaya was not taken lightly. They indeed wanted to get serious until marriage.

"From the beginning, we planned to have a serious relationship. After discussing with our parents, they supported us, and the circumstances were favorable," said Glen.

After three years of dating, in January, Melitha Sidabutar and Glen Imanuel Sanjaya agreed to discuss marriage with their parents. According to the plan, next May they will undergo pre-marital counseling.

"Last January, we talked to Mom and Dad about moving to the next level, which is more serious in God's way. The agenda for next month is for me and Melitha to meet with the Pastor at Tiberias Church to be guided in pre-marital counseling," said Glen.

"I used to talk to her on the phone, both at the office and through video calls. It feels like I miss her if we don't talk for a minute. I'm lost. Usually, every day I hear her joyful voice like children buzzing in my ears," said Glen.
