Melitha Sidabutar Dies Due to Heart Failure, Her Lover Reveals Plans to Marry Next Year

Kapanlagi.com - Spiritual singer Melitha Sidabutar passed away on Monday (8/4/2024) due to heart failure. The 23-year-old girl took her last breath shortly after receiving treatment at the hospital.

Melitha's departure has deeply saddened her family, especially her mother. As it is known, Melitha's twin sister, Melisha Sidabutar, had already left this world in 2020. At that time, she was only 19 years old.

The deep sorrow is also felt by Melitha's lover, Glen Immanuel Sanjaya. The man even revealed that he had plans to marry the deceased next year.

"In January, I talked to Papa Mama about wanting to have a serious relationship next year. I asked for permission to move to the next stage," said Glen, interviewed at Carolus Funeral Home, Salemba area, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (9/4/2024).

Glen Immanuel Sanjaya also told the story of how the initial meeting with Melitha Sidabutar before then developing a romantic relationship. Apparently, they know each other because of one service in church.

"Coincidentally, I've known Melitha for quite a long time. Because we are involved in one service in Tiberias church together. We have been in a special relationship for the past three years," said Glen.

Furthermore, Glen Immanuel Sanjaya revealed how Melitha Sidabutar is in his eyes. According to Glen, his girlfriend is a woman who always brings happiness.

"I have many memories with Melitha. They all bring happiness. Everyone who knows her can see that she brings happiness, especially to me," said Glen.

Through his Instagram account, Glen also wrote a touching farewell message for Melitha. In addition, Glen showed moments when he faithfully waited for and took care of Melitha during her hospitalization.

"Hi sweetheart, what are you doing there? I once promised you that I would accompany you in every season of your life. And I have fulfilled my promise. I once promised Melisha to take care of Melitha, and now I promise to take care of your father, mother, and brothers. Thank you for being present in this world and being a miracle in my life. I love you very much and miss you. See you," Glen wrote in the caption of his post.
