Failed Romantic Dinner, Dine Mutiara Received a Surprise Flower from Sahrul on Their Anniversary

For this couple, what matters most is not the form of the celebration, but the meaning of the journey they have gone through together. Sahrul realizes that two years of marriage is still considered very young, but it serves as a reminder of their commitment.

"Just that far hahaha. Well, the important thing is remembering that we are already at the next stage even though it's still small. Actually, we are still babies, 2 years old. Sometimes I feel shy when I see friends who are already in their teens or twenties," said Sahrul Gunawan.

Although it's only been two years, Sahrul hopes their relationship can grow to be more mature and full of goodness. He also hopes that this marriage will be a starting point towards a more harmonious household life. "But hopefully it will be a reminder. So starting at this young age, hopefully in the future we can be better in everything," he said.

In their prayers, Sahrul and Dine ask that their household is always filled with tranquility and love. They also hope to be a couple that comforts and supports each other. "Their prayer is always Rabbana hablana min azwajina qurrota a’yun. It becomes a prayer," said Sahrul.

"His wife becomes the heart's comfort for Aa, right? Yes, that's true," replied Dine Mutiara. "How do you know? I hope we can both comfort each other and support each other," Sahrul said again.

Sahrul also realized that he has changed a lot since marrying Dine. He feels calmer and is no longer easily provoked emotionally like before. "Since I’ve been married to Dine, it seems like she is the more patient one. I think my impatience, my emotional reactions, my irritability have decreased a bit. With Dine, it seems to have lessened, but just a little," said Sahrul.

"Hopefully, we will be the best version of Aa at our wedding. May we love each other until we are old, respect each other, and support each other," concluded Dine Mutiara.
