Fatigue After Waiting 10 Hours, Richard Lee's Trial is Postponed Again

The trial of the alleged violation of the Health and Consumer Protection Law with the defendant, doctor Richard Lee, was held again at the Tangerang District Court on Wednesday (27/8/2026). The session was ultimately postponed after Richard admitted that he was very fatigued after waiting for the trial process for 10 hours.

"Today I cannot attend the trial because I am very tired. I have been waiting for up to 10 hours. I am very exhausted, from work to the trial," Richard Lee told reporters at the Tangerang District Court on Wednesday (26/8/2026).

Although he admitted to being fatigued, Richard stated that the trial process continued until the evening before it was finally postponed. "So it’s clear, it continued earlier even though we were in the afternoon," Richard said.

On the other hand, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) made efforts to forcibly summon one of the witnesses named Muhammad Arman, to ensure his presence in the trial. This decisive action was taken after Muhammad Arman previously did not respond to the court summons, citing that he was working."Yes, we are making efforts to summon him. Earlier, the witness, one of the witnesses Muhammad Arman, could not attend because he was working," said JPU Randika.

The JPU explained that the official summons to Muhammad Arman had actually been made earlier, but there was no response. The forced summoning was eventually carried out based on the court's decree."Based on the court's decree, the JPU presented witness Muhammad Arman and thankfully, today the witness is present," said JPU Randika.

Although he has already appeared, Muhammad Arman has not had the opportunity to undergo examination that day. His examination will continue at the next hearing scheduled for Monday (31/8/2026).

This case began from a report by fellow beauty doctor, Samira Farahnaz, known to the public as Doktif, to the Metro Jaya Police in December 2024. The report relates to allegations of quality discrepancies and claims regarding several beauty products owned by Richard, including White Tomato, Miss P Stem Cell, and DNA Salmon.

After the case files were declared complete, Richard was officially detained and underwent his first trial on June 18, 2026, with the agenda of reading the indictment. Two legal efforts made by Richard, namely pre-trial and exception, also failed throughout the trial process.
