Faby Marcelia Doesn't Want to Rush into Marriage Again: It's Not About Status, But Who the Person Is

Kapanlagi.com - Since divorcing Revand Narya, Faby Marcelia has not shown a desire to rush back into marriage. Although she is currently in a fairly serious romantic relationship, Faby emphasizes that she prioritizes the quality of her partner over merely chasing a new status.

Faby reveals that she is now more selective and realistic. Her bitter past experiences have made her more cautious in building a household.

"Yeah, I’m not the type who thinks, oh I have to get married or anything like that, I’m not the type who has to rush into marriage or has to quickly have a status, it’s not like that. But more about who the person is," Faby asserted when met in the Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (6/5/2025).

She acknowledges that marriage is not an easy matter. There are many things to consider, especially regarding character compatibility and the emotional readiness of both parties.

"Marriage is not about who goes first but who can last until the end," she continued.

1. It Doesn't Mean Closing Oneself

Even so, it doesn't mean that Faby is closing herself off. She is still open to possibilities if her soulmate comes along. However, she doesn't want to force things or feel pressured by other people's expectations.

"If it happens tomorrow, then alhamdulillah; if it happens in 5 years, that's okay too, as long as it's really my soulmate," she said.

Faby also believes that her decision to take a more relaxed approach to marriage is not due to trauma, but rather because she wants to live life with more awareness and not rush.

"Sometimes we get so busy chasing status that we forget who we really need in our lives," she stated.

2. Make Yourself and Your Children Happy

Faby feels that the most important thing right now is to make herself and her children happy. She believes that when the time is right, God will bring her together with the best person.

"Right now, my focus is more on myself and my children. If someone comes along and is a good match, then that's a blessing; if not, I still have many things to be grateful for," she concluded.
