Feeling Accompanied by Late Husband During Umrah, Jennifer Coppen: Papa Dali is by My Side

"Alhamdulillah, during Umrah everything went smoothly, I feel closer to God, to Allah, and I feel that Papa Dali is always by my side accompanying me," she said when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, recently. 

One of the most memorable moments for Jennifer was when she observed her daughter, Kamari, during their time in the Holy Land. Kamari, who usually rarely calls her dad, suddenly started calling him often while in Mecca and Medina. "Kamari kept saying papa papa the whole time we were there, but I don't know if she could actually see her dad or not," Jennifer expressed emotionally.

Jennifer felt her late husband, Dali's presence, very strongly throughout the umrah journey. She believes that her husband's spirit accompanied them, especially when Kamari frequently mentioned her dad. "While in Bali, she rarely called him papa, but during the umrah, she always called him papa," she added.

Before leaving for umrah, Jennifer admitted that she often prayed and had spiritual conversations with her late husband, Dali. She asked for help and strength from Allah so that her worship journey with Kamari would go smoothly. 

"Before the umrah, I always pray for it to go smoothly, and I also talk to the spirit of Dali to help lift the burden," explained the 23-year-old woman.

During the umrah, Jennifer felt an extraordinary ease, especially in taking care of Kamari. She felt blessed because she did not experience the difficulties she usually faces when carrying her daughter. 

"During the umrah, I didn't feel like I was always carrying a child, I wasn't hot, and it felt so beautiful," said Jennifer gratefully.

This umrah experience also made Jennifer more certain and hopeful that she could return to the Holy Land in the future. She feels this spiritual experience is very valuable and provides many lessons for her life. "Yes, I hope to be able to return there," she hopes.
