Former Manager Denny Sumargo Denies Embezzlement Allegations, Claims He Suffered Losses and is Ready to Prove his Innocence

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Denny Sumargo reported his former manager, Ditya Andrista, to the Jakarta Metro Police for alleged embezzlement of funds and forgery of documents. Denny accused his former manager of taking away Rp739 million after being unable to contact him. Upon learning of the report, his former manager finally responded.

Ditya Andrista spoke up after being reported by Denny Sumargo to the police for alleged embezzlement of funds and forgery of documents. Ditya, who is accompanied by lawyer Banggua Togu Tambunan, denied all allegations against him. He even prepared strong evidence to refute the report from Denny Sumargo to the police.

"We are ready to prove that what has been stated and reported by Denny Sumargo and his legal team (regarding embezzlement and forgery), is not entirely true and not true," said Togu in Jakarta on Tuesday (5/10/2021). Togu, who feels that his client is being cornered by Denny Sumargo, needs to clarify all the false accusations against Ditya.

Regarding Denny Sumargo's statement claiming to have suffered losses of Rp 739 million, according to Togu, it is not comparable to the losses suffered by his client.Denny, according to Togu, still has obligations to fulfill for Ditya's work from 2018 - August 2021, amounting to Rp 1.7 billion.

"And Denny has only paid Rp 419 million.If calculated (the shortfall) is more than the losses suffered by Denny, which is around Rp 700 - 800 million," Togu concluded.Togu also reiterated that the matter of claiming losses from each party has been resolved on August 26, 2021.Therefore, Ditya was surprised to learn that Denny reported him to the Jakarta Metro Police.

Togu explained that before Denny reported Ditya, there was evidence of chat conversations regarding their debts and credits.His party also claimed to have settled all matters with Denny properly.His public appearance is intended to clarify and deny allegations that Ditya is a thief and has taken someone else's rights, as well as to prove his innocence in this case.

Meanwhile, Ditya regrets Denny Sumargo's actions of cornering him. Bringing up the name of his late father. Ditya admitted that he was forced to appear in public to clarify all the accusations against him. Ditya also felt that what Denny did was unfair to him.

"Actually, I don't want to bring him down. But he's the one who wants it, not me," said Ditya. "So if DS watches this, whatever mistakes of mine that he doesn't accept, don't bring up my father anymore. What makes me upset is when someone says 'poor father, turns out his child is a thief, turns out his child is a thief'.
