Kapanlagi.com - Before being baptized, actress Angela Gilsha studied the Bible for one year. It is known that within two years, this 'Anak Langit' soap opera player was agnostic. During her study of the Bible, Angela Gilsha admitted that she found many answers to the questions she had been asking.
“The preparation was that I had to study the Bible for a year because I needed to understand why I should be baptized, what to learn, and everything else, why this, why that,” said Angela Gilsha when met in West Jakarta on Thursday (27/10/2023).
“Then finally, because of Bible study, my mind opened, ‘Oh yes, it's true’, it turns out all the statements I questioned have answers there,” she added.

After being baptized, this 29-year-old woman felt like there was a different energy entering her body.
"I can't really describe the words when I was dipped into the water. It feels like there's a different energy surrounding me, like being a new person and really a blessing from the first day of the baptism and it turns out like, 'Wow, it's really there and it's so good,'" she said.
Not only family members attended the baptism. But, the baptism process itself was attended directly by Angela Gilsha's colleagues.
"Many. Because coincidentally, all the friends from the soap opera were there in the church. From Anak Langit, there's Gerald, Steve, there's Bili, Mila was also there, Michael Jowan was also there, Pamela Bowie was also there," she said.
In that opportunity, Angela Gilsha revealed her feelings after returning to her old religion.
"I don't know, I don't understand, it's just suddenly on Sunday when I wake up I miss going to church, 'I want to go to church'. Strange, very strange when it's told," she concluded.
