Frustrated by Defaming Having a Romantic Relationship with Betrand Peto, Sarwendah Issues Open Summons to Five TikTok Accounts

Kapanlagi.com - The closeness between Sarwendah and her son named Betrand Peto has been portrayed negatively by social media users. They upload photos or videos with captions that suggest a romantic relationship between the mother and son.

Frustrated by this ongoing situation, Sarwendah has enlisted the help of a legal team to issue an open summons. This choice was made because there are more than one account involved.

"Today we issued an open summons because there have been many people framing and their comments are very disturbing," said Chris Sam Siwu, a member of Sarwendah's legal team, when met in the Kedoya area, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/5/2024).

It is mentioned that there are five TikTok accounts that have received an open summons from Sarwendah, namely @andai05065, @_ayya04, @kobil, @full.cek.bio, and @j2_aps. Their uploads are suspected to have attacked the honor and damaged the self-esteem of Sarwendah as a mother and wife.

"The open summons act for and on behalf of our client, Sarwendah. With this, we convey an open summons as a follow-up to the alleged electronic information that attacks the honor or damages the good name and self-esteem of our client. In the form of images or writings that are accused or defamatory towards our client," said Abraham Simon, Sarwendah's legal counsel.

2. Ingin Permintaan Maaf

With the open summons, Sarwendah wants an apology to be made by the five account owners. If they do not comply with the requested actions within 3 x 24 hours, Sarwendah will not hesitate to file a report with the police.

"Based on the above, we urge the TikTok account owners as follows: One, publicly apologize to our client within 3 x 24 hours since this summons is conveyed," said Abraham Simon.

"Two, delete the writings or images or photos and/or videos that contain accusations or defamation that attack the honor or damage the self-esteem of our client," Abraham Simon continued.

"Three, and if there is no realization within the mentioned time limit, our client will exercise the right as a citizen to take legal action by filing a criminal report through the Indonesian National Police," concluded Abraham Simon.
