Gen Halilintar Family Sued for 9.5 Million, Nagaswara Still Open to Peace

Kapanlagi.com - Although already in court and the trial has been held several times, Nagaswara music label asserts that they are still open to the possibility of peace with the Gen Halilintar family.

This was conveyed by Yos Mulyadi, as Nagaswara's legal counsel.

"Yes, we are open, but it has to be based on facts, on what is real. It's not just about asking for forgiveness, I saw a clarification video that may imply something, but we need something real, let's discuss what was said in the video," said Yos Mulyadi at the Central Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (19/2).

1. Still Open the Door of Peace

Yos said that peace could happen if the Gen Halilintar family could fulfill the requirements proposed by Nagaswara. One of them is that the Gen Halilintar family is willing to establish a partnership with Nagaswara.

"That's the direction. Before this trial, we have already requested. We have indeed met. But there is no agreement, that's why we propose this," he said.

2. Lawsuit

As known, Nagaswara sued the Gen Halilintar family to the Central Jakarta District Court, starting when the Gen Halilintar family sang and changed the lyrics of the song Lagi Syantik popularized by Siti Badriah without permission. Then they uploaded it on YouTube.

Quoted from the official website of the Central Jakarta District Court, Nagaswara demands that the Gen Halilintar family must pay a certain amount of fines and damages for alleged copyright infringement, totaling Rp. 9.5 billion.
