Celebrity couple Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier officially got married on May 7, 2025, at COMO Shambala Estate, Gianyar, Bali. Although they just got married, both are immediately busy with their respective jobs, admitting they have not fully adapted to being husband and wife.

When met in the Senayan area of Central Jakarta on Saturday (May 17, 2025), Luna Maya mentioned that her new life still feels awkward. She admitted there are many things that remain unresolved in their household.

"Because honestly, you could say Max moved into my house, right? The stuff hasn’t even settled in yet. So, there’s a lot that needs to be taken care of," Luna said.

He added that he has been used to living alone for years. Now, he feels he is still in the adjustment phase of sharing space and habits with his partner.

"After being alone for years, suddenly I have to share this, right? Well, this is for you, this is me. So the adaptation is still very new, so it’s like not quite settled yet," he added.

Meanwhile, Maxime admitted to staying relaxed in response to the early dynamics of their marriage. He said their homes are close to each other, making it easier to build habits together. "We are neighbors, so it's safe," Maxime said briefly.

Luna also hopes to enjoy the early phase as a married couple more. She emphasizes the importance of feeling secure first before moving on to the next phase, such as having children.

"Meanwhile, from my side, I hope that as a couple, we can really establish ourselves as husband and wife, truly settled and ready, not just ready, perhaps adapting as a married couple," she said.

The busyness of work also poses a challenge that makes their adaptation process not run smoothly right away. Luna even admitted that she is adjusting her schedule to spend quality time with her husband.

"Hopefully, we are currently matching our schedules because I have filming when I come home. Also, I plan to take a month off in August," Luna revealed.
