Randy Danistha, the keyboardist of the band Nidji, prefers not to comment much on the appointment of their former vocalist.
"It’s not my capacity to answer," said Randy when met at Senayan Park, Central Jakarta, on Monday (21/10/2024).
Randy said that the news would eliminate speculation about Giring's reunion with Nidji that had been circulating recently. "The good thing is that it moves away from reunion news," he said.
Randy revealed that the members of the band Nidji were not surprised by Giring's appointment as Deputy Minister.
"No (shock), actually Nidji is happy, we can focus on working on the sixth album," said Randy.
Lastly, Randy also had no message for Giring after being appointed as deputy minister. "It's up to him," he concluded.
