Dangdut singer Dewi Perssik is once again enraged by the actions of irresponsible individuals on social media. This time, a Facebook account named "Dewi Persik" that has a blue tick is misusing her identity, raising concerns about the potential abuse of her well-known name.

The woman, affectionately known as Mami DP, stated that she only became aware of the account's existence after receiving reports from her fans, DP Lovers. She emphasized that the account does not belong to her and has been active for a long time, even suspected of generating financial profits.

"I feel like that doesn't belong to me, so I don't know... like that. And it turns out he has been active there for a long time," he said when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/7/2026).

Although she does not mind if someone uses her content to make money, Mami DP is very disappointed with the blue verification check on that fake account. For her, this is a violation that could lead to fraud.

"Actually, everyone wants... wants to copy my name, that's fine, but don't let it get a blue check. That's what I'm afraid will be misused... by those people," she emphasized.

The ex-wife of Saipul Jamil admitted that she has tried to politely admonish the owner of the account, but did not receive a positive response. In fact, her fans who tried to remind her were immediately blocked.

"I have warned him many times... but he is still... like that. That's why I'm upset," he continued.

Feeling that there was no good faith, Dewi Perssik finally decided to consult with her lawyer, Sandy Arifin. She is also ready to take legal action if the account is not deactivated soon.

"Then Bang Sandi said, 'Sister Neng, let's report it if that's the case, if he continues (using the name Dewi Perssik)," she revealed.  This step is taken not to seek trouble, but as a form of vigilance to protect her good name and prevent future victims of fraud.
