Hotma Sitompul Speaks Out About His Marriage Issues, Refuses to Discuss Desiree Tarigan's Statement

Kapanlagi.com - Desiree Tarigan publicly revealed her marital problems after being kicked out of the house by her husband, renowned lawyer Hotma Sitompul. Desiree was asked to leave without any reason since early February. Her belongings have been moved to her parents' house next door.

In response to the public uproar, Hotma's legal advisor issued a written statement. It stated that he wants to resolve the issues that have arisen.

"Mr. Hotma P.D. Sitompoel fundamentally intends to resolve all and every marital issue with Mrs. Desiree T Sitompoel and live together as husband and wife again," reads the statement received by the KapanLagi.com team on Saturday (27/3/2021).

1. Give Time to Both Parties

Last Friday (26/3/2021), Desiree Tarigan, accompanied by her two children and legal counsel, visited their house to meet with Hotma Sitompul. However, Hotma did not show up without reason. This notification was rushed after almost a month of no communication.

"We request that Mrs. Desiree T. Sitompoel postpone her plans to give time to both parties to thoroughly discuss and resolve all issues and misunderstandings before living together again," the statement reads.

2. Unwilling to Respond to Desiree's Statement

Regarding the statements made by Desiree Tarigan while being outside the house, Hotma Sitompul's party does not want to respond. This is done to avoid further escalating the situation.

"As for the reasons and other matters that occurred after Mrs. Desiree T. Sitompoel left the shared residence on February 7, 2021, in order to protect the privacy and dignity of both parties, Mr. Hotma PD Sitompoel has decided not to respond, in order to avoid worsening the situation and achieve the best possible resolution for both parties," concludes the statement.
