Inara Rusli Remains Strong Despite Trials, Claims to Be Accustomed to Hard Living Since Childhood

"Because my life has been hard since I was a child. My life is really tough. My parents are quite authoritarian. So... I have been used to facing difficult situations. I have to be independent," said Inara Rusli when met in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Monday (16/3/2026).

Inara recounts that she has become accustomed to facing difficult situations, starting from her authoritarian parents' upbringing to the loss of her father. That is what makes her not easily give up today.

"Then when Dad was gone, what was usually available, what was usually served, suddenly I had to be independent, had to be able to stand on my own two feet," Inara said.

2. Never Asked for This Problem to Exist

For her, life is indeed like a wheel that turns. She realizes that everyone must have their own problems that were never asked for beforehand.

"Do you think all the problems that happen in my life, in your life, in the lives of all the older siblings, did you ever ask for problems like that? No, right? It’s impossible, right?" Inara said.

3. Hold Firm to Religion

Inara believes that the key to staying sane in the face of trials is to always hold firm to religion. She is convinced that problems are God's way of testing the quality of His servant's faith.

"Yes, that is the wheel of life. We never know when we are on top, when we are at the bottom. But as long as we always hold firm to Allah, insyaallah we don't need to worry," said Inara Rusli.
