Income Affected by the Pandemic, Tya Ariestya Strives Not to Reduce Employees at Her Cat Hotel

Kapanlagi.com - The indiscriminate impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is felt by all levels of society, including Indonesian celebrities who venture into the business world. One of them is Tya Ariestya who has just opened a cat hotel business called Arnamir Cat Salon & Spa.

"My cat hotel just launched during the pandemic," wrote Tya Ariestya in the caption of her Instagram post.

Through her Instagram post, the wife of Irfan Ratinggang shared her difficulties during the pandemic. Like most other businesses, Tya Ariestya's cat hotel also had few visitors.

1. Not Reducing Employees

Tya Ariestya admitted that the income of her cat hotel was far from expectations due to all the limitations during the pandemic, especially when PSBB was re-implemented in DKI Jakarta. Nevertheless, Tya and her husband continue to brainstorm in order to avoid reducing the number of employees.

"The boarding period should be fully booked, but in reality it has to be empty because there are no tourists, but we try our best to remain productive, even though it's slow, but hopefully it will be blessed," said Tya Ariestya.

2. Implementing Health Protocols

One of the ways Tya and her husband do is to implement a system that complies with health protocols so that customers can still safely and comfortably use the services provided.

"Now, with PSBB again, we don't accept guests. If they want to bathe their cats, the system is to drop them off and pick them up again, or they can use pick up & delivery service for their cats," said this mother of two.

"The cat hotel can still operate because the cats can just be dropped off at the cat hotel," she added.

3. Stay Motivated

The impact of the pandemic has not dampened the spirits of celebrity couple Tya Ariestya and Irfan Ratinggang in starting their new business.

"Hehhehe, even the pandemic has affected our Cat Hotel @arnamircattery_tyaariestya. But we must stay motivated to keep our employees," said Tya.

"Who feels the pandemic in their income? Don't forget to be grateful as long as we are still healthy," she added.
