Insanul Fahmi and Mawa Focus on Mending Hearts, Temporarily Forget Legal Cases

The meeting between Insanul Fahmi and Wardatina Mawa at the lawyer's office not only discussed the terms of reconciliation but also served as a cooling down moment from the heated ongoing legal case. Both parties agreed to temporarily set aside the roles of complainant and defendant, and to speak from the heart as husband and wife who are being tested.

Tommy Tri Yunanto, Insanul's attorney, emphasized that during the meeting, discussions regarding Article 284 (adultery) at the Metro Jaya Police and the illegal access case at the National Police Headquarters were put aside. "Well, since this is about husband and wife, we are not discussing the earlier case. We are not talking about the case under article 284, the case at the National Police Headquarters, we are not discussing that. What we are discussing is the issue of the husband and wife relationship. That is the realm we are in," said Tommy when met at Cilandak Town Square, South Jakarta, Thursday (15/01/2026).

Insanul came with a sincere intention to correct his mistakes and return to Mawa. He was even willing to lower his ego and apologize in front of Mawa's extended family. This gentle attitude is hoped to soften Mawa's heart, which is deeply hurt.

"So it really hurts a lot for Mawa. So that's what is felt, so we understand. That’s why with the earlier meeting we are both positive thinking," added Tommy describing the atmosphere of the meeting.

Despite Mawa still appearing emotional and angry, her willingness to meet and set conditions shows that there is still a glimmer of hope for the integrity of their household. Tommy hopes this process can lead to true reconciliation.

"We all can't do anything because they are the ones managing their household. They are still angry and emotional, that's clear. But in this case, there are conditions that need to be communicated to Insanul, and Insanul agrees to all of it," he concluded optimistically.
