According to Commissioner Andi, Axel's arrest stemmed from an unpleasant act, which was then developed and it was discovered that Axel actually had ammunition and several firearms.
"It was a development from the initial suspicion of an unpleasant act, and then it was found that the person had ammunition and a number of firearms in his safe. There were 3 long firearms and 4 short firearms," he explained.
"From the results, we found that they originated from 3 people. These 3 people are MSA, ADG, and Y. They are the perpetrators behind the firearms, but it is still under further investigation," he added.

After this case was developed, the Police found several pieces of evidence stored in the suspect AM's safe. In the safe, the police found several types of firearms.
"From the evidence we obtained from AM, there were 7 firearms in his safe, 3 of them were long guns and 4 were handguns," said Kompol Andi.
Furthermore, he explained the role of Axel Djody Gondokusumo (ADG). According to Kompol Andi's testimony, Axel is an intermediary.
"Brother ADG's role is to be an intermediary between brother MSA and AM," he continued.
Kompol Andi explained that although Axel, also known as ADG, is an intermediary between the seller and buyer of firearms, he is still subject to criminal charges due to the possession of firearms.
"Yes, he is only an intermediary, he is the one who offers and facilitates the transaction of buying and selling firearms," said Kompol Andi Sinjaya Ghalib.
"He is also involved in the possession of these illegal firearms," he concluded.
With the possession of these firearms, Axel is charged under Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Law Number 12 /DRT of 1951, with a prison sentence of 20 years and a maximum life imprisonment.
